CLUB OF TEXTILE ARTISTS ARTTEX

The Club of Textile Artists Arttex is an association of professional artists working with the textile technique Arttex. Created in 1997 as an non/profit making organization, which is retaining and spreading on the field of visual arts a unique textile technique of creation of work of arts under the trade-mark Arttex (registered in 1995). The Club has 25 members. The aim of the Club of Textile Artists Arttex is to retain and to spread of this unique textile technique for the following generations and a continuation through courses, symposiums and exhibitions. By means of these events the CoTA Arttex would like to motivate new possibilities of the use of this technique. A part of the Club is also an atelier, which is completely equipped for the creation of artistic goblin tapestries. The Atelier was created from financial sources of the European Union (Program PHARE).
